Tracking your emails is an important part of being a good sender and learning how your users interact with them. We provide basic statistics along with granular details for every campaign.
The number of contacts that you requested to send emails.
The number of emails SMTP was able to confirm were actually delivered to a recipient.
The total number of times your emails were opened by recipients.
The email recipient clicked on a link in the email, the CNAME record must be pointing to mailgun.org.
The email was not delivered as the recipient's server is unavailable or their inbox is full.
The email was not delivered as the email address was not existent or blocked email address.
Unsubscribed recipients who have unsubscribed from your emails. The unsubscribe event is triggered when the end recipient clicks the unsubscribe link in the email footer. [Note - Once the contact has unsubscribed, the email cannot be sent. As the contact will have made a diligent decision to unsubscribe, a special request would be required.
The API keys are invalid, the user needs to configure the valid API keys, or the number of recipients who have malformed email addresses or whose mail provider reports the address as invalid.
Your email's spam score is the number of recipients who have marked it as spam.
A button named Load more statistics contains the details of recipients who delivered, opened, clicked, unsubscribed, or failed.
Go to "Email" > Click "Statistics" at the top of the page.
Make sure that the date filter includes the date range you need. Stats from the past year or month often go missing when they suddenly appear.
SMTP integration will show opened and clicked only, we will not be able to fetch delivered/bounced stats.
Only mail gun will be able to show full stats.
