Import Products / Price From Stripe

This integration allows you to quickly and easily import products and their pricing from Stripe directly into Woocommerce. This means that you can quickly and easily update your product catalog with Stripe's products and pricing, saving you time and effort.

Which Pricing Plans Can Be Imported

  • Recurring / Subscription plans only. One-Time prices cannot be imported, these need to be created in the system directly.

  • To import a plan/price from Stripe, it must be in Live mode (not Test mode)

  • "Metered" prices can not be imported when importing a recurring plan/price

  • Stripe plans/prices that have already been imported into Topline OS will not show as options when using the "Import From Stripe" function, as they have already been imported

What Are We Doing While Importing Price From Stripe

  • Import stripe product (which is linked with price) & create in Topline OS if it doesn't already exist

  • Create price under that product

  • We will also create same product and price in Stripe TEST Mode and PayPal (if integration connected)

There will be 3 types of pricing plans in your Stripe account.

1. Price created via the SaaS configurator:

  • In the product listing and product details page, prices created via the SaaS Configurator will have a tag with the product and price name.

  • In Topline OS Payments, prices created with the SaaS Configurator cannot be edited

  • The change in the Topline OS Product/price will not be reflected if you update the price directly in Stripe. 

  • You can edit the price of a SaaS Configurator product in Stripe, then import it by using the "Import From Stripe" button, which will create a new Topline OS Product with a tag, which you will then be able to select in the Funnel or Website settings. 

2. Prices created by creating a product in Topline OS:

  • Stripe will create a plan/price for each product created in Topline OS.

  • Stripe will automatically sync any changes to Topline OS product pricing.

  • Topline OS will not automatically sync Stripe pricing changes. Pricing changes in Stripe would need to be imported into Topline OS.

3. Prices created by you in Stripe:

  • Using the "Import From Stripe" button, you can import plans/prices created in Stripe into Topline OS as Topline OS Products. 

  • The price of imported products will automatically sync to Stripe if you edit them in your Topline accounting software.

  • You must import the changed plan/price as another Topline OS product if you edit an imported plan/price in Stripe.
