How to Add Setup Fees to Your Recurring Invoices

This streamlined approach simplifies billing for both you and your customers, ensuring clarity and efficiency in the payment process. 

How to Use

  • In the "Revenue" > Product section, create a product with the price type recurring and a setup fee.

  • Create a recurring invoice from invoices section.

  • Add the product which has a setup fee in it.

  • 2 line items for the same product will be shown with the Suffix "Setup Fee" added to the setup part of the price.

  • The recurring element should only appear on subsequent invoices that are automatically generated according to your schedule.

Why did we build this?

  • All service providers collecting signing fees along with monthly recurring charges would greatly benefit from this feature.
