For Group Calendar
Once you integrate the Google account, you will find the sync option on the "Settings" > "Profile page". Log into the account as the user and go to the "Settings" > Integrations page to connect with a Google account. Once you have done that, click the Profile tab under the Calendar Configuration section to connect to your Google account.
We would use the same sync option here as we did before. In Topline, we will create a contact and appointment for each guest found in the Google events we found.
If you don't want us to create a contact, you can choose "Select Default Calendar" and click save.
The Allow Trigger option appears after selecting the default calendar, which means the appointment triggers or Customer booked appointment triggers will be fired for the contact to add them to the appointment reminder campaigns.
For Unassigned Calendar
Regardless of the sync option, all Topline appointments will still be pushed to the linked Google calendar.
Two-way sync and disable trigger would add guests from Google events to Topline.
When the Google events are sync, the guests will be added to Topline if they are already a lead with the same email address.
Calendar Sync Options
One Way:
Grey will be used to display all events from the Google calendar. There will be no addition to Topline of those who have been invited to a Google event. Although it will still sync the Topline appointments to the Google calendar and block the Google timeslot.
Two Way:
All events from the Google calendar will be colored and connected. When Topline finds who is invited to the Google event, it creates a contact record for them and triggers any related events.
Smart:
When an event is created in Google calendar but the contacts associated with it do not already exist in Topline as contacts, Topline will not add them as contacts, but will block the time off in your Topline calendar (event color will be gray).
As an alternative, Topline will color code events when they are created in Google calendars and the associated contacts are found as existing contacts in Topline.
Disable Trigger:
Topline will pull all contacts associated with Google Calendar events as new contacts, but triggers associated with Topline calendar events will not be triggered.
