Understanding Terms of Funnel Analytics

Funnel analytics is crucial in marketing because it enables businesses to track and analyze the customer journey from initial contact to conversion. By identifying where potential customers drop off, companies can optimize their strategies to improve retention and increase sales. Additionally, funnel analytics helps in allocating resources more effectively by pinpointing which stages require the most attention.

Page Views

All:

All page views - any individual visit.

Unique:

Unique visitors that visited the page.

Opt-ins

All:

The number of users who opted in for the product / bought the product or submitted a form/survey or booked an appointment through a calendar.

Rate:

“All Optin” is divided by Unique Page views.


Sales

Orders

At the funnel step level :

The number of sale orders that happened - Essentially, how many orders were placed and does not take into account the number of products and quantities purchased. 

At the individual product level:

Number of times the particular product has been purchased.

For Bump Product:

The number of times the bump product is purchased.

Note: We started classifying the bump products data after 27th April 2023 12:00 pm GMT. Before this date, bump product order comes under individual product level orders.


Rate

At the funnel step level :

The number of times ANY product is purchased is divided by unique page views.

At the individual product level:

The number of times the particular product is purchased is divided by unique page views.

For Bump Product:

The number of times the bump product is purchased divided by total orders placed for the step.

Note: We started classifying the bump products rate after 27th April 2023 12:00 pm GMT. Before this date, bump product stats comes under individual product level stats.


Quantity

At the funnel step level

The total quantity of all products purchased in this funnel step.

At the product level

The total quantity of the specific product in that funnel step.


Amount

At the funnel step level:

The total value of all the products purchased in that funnel step.

At the product level:

Total sale value of a specific product in that funnel step.


Average Cart Value

At the funnel step level:

Total Amount / Total Orders.

At the product level:

Not Applicable.


Earnings / Pageviews

All:

Sales Value divided by All page views (not unique page views).

Unique:

Earnings are divided by Unique Page views.
