Number Intelligence - Block Spam Calls & Identify Unknown Callers

With the start of November 25th, you can start filtering spam calls and identifying unknown callers in addition to validating phone numbers. By default, this feature is available to accounts already using Number Validation with the option to opt out if you want.

Opting In

Accounts already using Number Validation will start seeing the new Spam Detection and Name Lookup capabilities automatically after Monday, Nov 25th 2024. Accounts that are not using Number Validation can enable it now or enable Number Intelligence later.

Costs

Accounts will be charged as per the SaaS rebilling you've setup:

  • Spam Detection: $0.01 per call from unknown U.S. numbers.

  • Name Lookup: $0.01 per call from unknown U.S. numbers.

  • Number Validation: $0.005 per validation (existing charge).

Opting Out

Disable Number Validation under Settings > Phone Numbers > Advanced Settings > SMS Compliance to avoid any related charges now and after the release.

Device Compatibility

  • Web App

    Supports all 3: Spam Detection, Name Lookup and Number Validation.

  • Mobile App

    Supports 2: Name Lookup and Number Validation (Spam Detection coming soon).
